Mexico City architecture is among the most dynamic in the world. We've developed sections on:

20th-Century Housing - some of the most important developments in world architecture happened here.
20th-Century Religious Architecture - fed especially by a stream of Spanish refugee architects, it's some of the most eye-catching
Architecture of the Porfirato - it was a long 30 years, and a lot of important historic structures are still standing.
Centro Histórico Temples & Churches - outside of Rome, there are few concentrations of religious architecture this dense in the world.
Mexico City’s Palacios - 18th-century residential architecture made it the "City of Palaces." And many are free to explore!
Skyscrapers - visible from where ever you are, a few of them have public viewing platforms.

See also our section on Artists and Architects. Many worked in both fields. And the Section on Historic Sites and Buildings seems to go on forever.
